27. Bad Candy - I went into this movie with VERY low expectations. I was scrolling through Amazon Prime trying to find something to watch and the cover caught my eye because it reminded me of “Trick R Treat.” My love for anthology horror has lead me to watch some real garbage over the years, and I was expecting this to be terrible but it was actually decent. Obviously very low budget and the plot was definitely lifted from “Trick R Treat” but it was just fun because didn’t take itself too seriously. Don’t go into it expecting a masterpiece but I was entertained for 90 minutes, the kills were entertaining, and I wouldn’t say no to watching it again.

28. Dude Bro Party Massacre III - R/horror has really given me some gems this year. I love a good horror comedy and this one just leans into all the ridiculous tropes and the hilariously over the top kills. The fact that the movie was made in 2015 and the entire thing was made to look like it was taped off basic cable complete with five second commercial clips and VCR tracking lines at the bottom of the screen made it even better.

29. Escape Room - I don’t believe in guilty pleasures because I am firmly in Team Let People Enjoy Things. But if I did have a guilty pleasure it would be big budget PG-13 horror movies. I love escape rooms so this was just a lot of fun!
