OCTOBER ORGY OF VIOLENCE 13
It’s the most wonderful time of the year - spooky season! And that means it’s time for another horror countdown. This is the 13th year of my little tradition so I had to do something beyond the usual for -
OCTOBER ORGY OF VIOLENCE 13
I thought about doing another top 31 of all time this year. I did one a few years back, but when I looked over that list I found that I didn’t have a whole lot that had changed from that initial list. So instead I decided to watch my current top 13 of all time, and 14-31 would just be movies I enjoyed and felt like rewatching this year. Basically, the theme for the magical 13th year is 🎃 I do what I want! 🎃
31. Final Destination - I LOVE shiny late 90s/early 2000s teen horror movies. If you were the star of a WB teen drama and this horror movie was filmed durning the summer hiatus, there is about a 300% chance that I watched your movie and unironically love it 20 years later.
Are the deaths in Final Destination absurd? Of course they are. That’s why I love them. Did this franchise traumatize an entire generation so that none of us will voluntarily drive behind a logging truck almost two decades later? Yes it did. Did this rewatch remind me even more how much I love these movies and now I’m planning to rewatch 2-5? You bet it did.
