5. The Dark and the Wicked - Oh damn, this was GOOD. Utterly bleak from start to finish. Definitely not a movie I’ll watch super often because of how hopeless it was but wow. The entire cast was incredibly effective and the sets were perfect for the story. It’s been awhile since a movie ended and I felt like I just had to sit and absorb it. This is one that will stick with you. Highly recommend.
