OCTOBER ORGY OF VIOLENCE 15 - THE PUMPKINING Β
20. Relic - Very slow burn, but very effective. Horror as a metaphor for disease and decay isnβt a new concept, but Relic did a great job with it. The whole disorienting aspect of the house worked really well too.

Stream - Shudder
21. Cobweb - Recommended by Samantha Wilcox and I fucking loved this one. Visually it hit alllll the Nas points. I definitely thought multiple times that this is what a Wes Anderson horror movie would look like. And that is apparently my dream aesthetic. Lizzy Caplan is guaranteed to be superb in any horror movie, and Homelander gave the right amount of creepy as the dad. HIGHLY recommend, one of my very favorites this month!

Stream - Sail the high seas
22. We Have A Ghost - Surprisingly wholesome horror-adjacent comedy. Likable characters, a fun storyline, and genuine heart. Plus Anthony Mackie was the dad, and who doesnβt enjoy a surprise Avenger?
