I tried the download and appropriate vdieo media and all I get is sound. I don't suppose you have this stashed away somewhere in wmv format by any chance? ::puppy dog look:: My computer is an old cantankerous piece of crap held together by ducttape and curses...::fondly pats Dino while simultaneously kicking the hd...

I don't have the vid in wmv files. Mov files are playable in Quicktime, which is a free download. Anytime I try to export any of my vids as wmv files, only the first 30 seconds will export for some reason. Sorry!

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried the download and even then Dino couldn't manage sound *and* video. But for some reason wmv works just fine. I hate to miss it but I've bookmarked the journal - in case I find something that works I can come back. Thanks again.

Have you tried VLC player (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/)? It plays just about every format out there, and there are PC and Mac versions of it. My computer can get really bitchy about playing avi files in Quicktime sometimes and cause lots of skips, but if I play it in VLC everything is great.
