The first half of this actually wasn’t as terrible as I was expecting. If it didn’t have the original Blair Witch Project to live up to it would have been a decent enough found footage movie. The point when it really fell apart for me was when they started actually showing the Blair Witch, like the random hand that knocked one of the characters out of a tree. What made the original so scary was what they didn’t show.
