Times like this make me really wish I had a puppy

So Mum's back in the hospital. She's been doing really well for the past few weeks, but she started running a bit of a fever and when I took her into the doctor to have her checked out her white count was really low, so they wanted to admit her.

I guess it's a good thing that they admit her before she ends up really sick again, but it still sucks.

We're both seriously bummed that we're stuck in Maine for the entire summer too. We're probably going to be here until October which just sucks. We're just both beyond sick of this place.

Seriously, I'm just amazed that I haven't snapped and gone on a killing spree yet. I'm probably going to have a fucking breakdown once all this is over because I'm just constantly exhausted doing everything I need to do for Mum, working, and trying to have a tiny bit of time to rest. Dunkin Donuts makes a 32 ounce iced coffee that is my lifesaver.

There are pretty much four things in my life that relax me right now

1. Making pies
2. Talking to duia
3. Driving with the windows down, the music up, and slight disregard for speed limits
4. Escaping into LJ-land

One thing to say, I'm going to have a massive selection of pie recipes I've created once this is all over with!
