5. Zombieland

This barely counts as a horror movie, but it has zombies and is filled with awesome. I saw this in the theaters twice, and it has pretty much become my happy place movie. I want to be Woody Harrelson when the zombie apocalypse happens.

4. Storm of the Century

"Born in sin? Come on in!"

Another four hour 90s Stephen King TV epic. I have so many fond memories of this movie. Whenever it would be a cold, snowy winter day where I had nothing to do, my Mom and I would hunker down in the house and watch this. We were an odd family. ;-) This movie is amazing. It's so very MAINE.

3. Pet Sematary

"The soil of a man's heart is stonier. A man grows what he can, and he tends it. 'Cause what you buy, is what you own. And what you own... always comes home to you."

This is the first Stephen King book I ever read, and it has always stuck with me. The quote I mentioned is one of my favorite quotes. Not going to lie, creepy implications or not, it's probably going to be on a sign on our farm one day. Fred Gwynne is PERFECT as Jud Crandall. Best Maine accent I've ever heard on film. The movie definitely has its cheesy moments because...80s, but I can watch it over and over again.
