According to Whedonesque - Drive has been cancelled. After four episodes.

FOUR EPISODES.

I really should know better than to watch anything airing on Fox. For the past eleven years Fox has been crapping on my heart. Shows I love that they have axed -

Profit
Kindred: The Embraced
Dark Angel
Firefly
Tru Calling
John Doe
Fastlane
and now Drive.

And those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

How in the everloving fuck do they expect to really be able to tell how well a show is going to do after airing four episodes over two weeks? It really is starting to feel like Fox is setting these shows up to fail. I mean, they aired Firefly OUT OF ORDER. Fastlane and John Doe were given the death timeslots on Friday night. That's really smart Fox, air the shows aimed at the 18-25 demographic on DATE NIGHT.

This is the brilliant network that passed on Buffy and cancelled Family Guy. When Prison Break got a second season I was amazed. The fact that House and Bones have survived this long is astounding. If it wasn't for those three shows, I would wash my hands of the network completely.

Fuck you Fox. Take some lessons from the CW and FX.

I actually really liked Fastlane. And of course Firefly being cancelled was such a huge mistake on their part. Airing the Pilot out of order was stupid as well. I mean, who does that shit?

I'm so glad Bones is so good with the ratings because if it wasn't I'm sure Fox would have axed it by now.

I agree, FOX sucks ass. I only tolerate them now, 'cause otherwise I wouldn't get my AI fix. Although NBC has been pissing me off too. Stupid network execs...

They should re-think their slogan. Maybe something along the lines of 'FOX - Stabbing the heart of fans since...'

oh man, profit was the shit. i don't know where that show really could've gone though -- eventually he would've been president of the company or king of the earth or whatever, and that's it.

as far as firefly, many shows get aired out of order initially, god knows why. look what happened to the clerks cartoon (on abc, i believe). 2 episodes, out of order, and it's canceled.
