About this batch - Dead Snow was freaking AWESOME. Nazi zombies. NAZI ZOMBIES GUYS. Devil's Rejects was also really good. I loved the whole 70s low budget look of it. A Serbian Film failed to shock me. Not sure what that says about me.
Joe and I went to this awesome haunted house in Austin called Scare For the Cure. All the money goes to breast cancer charities in Texas and it was a killer time.
First of all, it's BY FAR the most interactive haunted house I've ever been in. I paid extra to get "Red Level" tickets that involved lots more blood and violence. You had to sign a WAIVER. First we rode this rickety school bus to base camp. We hung out there for like an hour. We had to amuse the guards to barter for sodas and zombie protective necklaces. I had to kiss a clown guys.
When it was our group we had to run through the woods and climb into a van. Zombies attacked the van and we had to run into a prison. We were put in CHAINS, and then the guards took us into a lab. We ended up COVERED in blood.
It ended with us having to face off against a ten foot tall zombie robot cyborg thing with a chainsaw for an arm. IT WAS AWESOME.
We reached the end just after midnight, so we told each other Happy Anniversary while covered in blood after fighting zombies. It was magical.

This is only a tiny indication of how bloody I was. The website said to not wear clothes you cared about getting bloody and dirty. They were not kidding.

After the zombies, I got flowers. Can't think of a better way to spend my six month anniversary.
