The people at the SlickDeals forum where I found out about this contest in the first place are still harping on about how they think we cheated. I replied to them with a nice, rational explanation of how we won, but since most of them don't seem to be smart enough for proper spelling, I don't expect them to understand math OR internet popularity either.

SPN Season 2 DVD Extras!!!!

Straight from the mouth of TV Shows of DVD.com, the first rumors of the second season Supernatural DVDs have appeared!!!!


TVGuide.com posted an interview with Eric Kripke, creator of Supernatural. One of the questions brought up the season 2 DVD set:

Every time the boys get in and out of the Impala the doors squeak. It wouldn't be the Impala without it, but is that a sound effect? Because in the blooper reel on the DVD, that door did not squeak at all. Also, what kinds of extras are you planning for the Season 2 DVD?

Kripke: Those squeaky doors are the work of our brilliant sound [editing] guys. As for the DVD, we're going to do two commentaries; a documentary about bringing the season finale from script to screen, warts and all; some Easter eggs; and the coolest feature, where we've rounded up a bunch of history and folklore experts to give commentary on the urban legends used in the show. It kinda blows me away, having legit academic commentary about our little bloodfest....

A finale documentary, commentary, and an urban legend special! Sounds awesome! Here's hoping that one of those Easter Eggs is a blooper reel!
