Say what you will about the sequels, but the first Scream movie is awesome. I love the 90s. I love the 90s so much. Scream was really the first self aware horror movie where you have cynical teenagers deconstructing all the horror tropes. And I love it like a 90s kid loves flannel and wallet chains.
