7. Berlin Syndrome

REALLY liked this one. Utterly viscerally disturbing and makes me really really glad that I don’t have to date anymore because that’s how you get held hostage by hot German guys. And not in the sexy way.

Visually the movie really impressed me, especially the twisted juxtaposition of Andi putting together an IKEA chair while also tying up his poor victim. I’ll be looking to see what else Max Riemelt and Teresa Palmer have done because the acting was great too. Would definitely watch this again.
