Mike Flanagan is my new god. I’ve seen a fair amount of home invasion horror movies. Some of them have been okay, some I actually enjoyed like Home Sweet Home, some I despise like Funny Games. (Yes, I get what it’s trying to do, but it’s still boring AF.) This blew them all out of the water. Great tension and Kate Siegel was fantastic. I really loved this one. For real, if you haven’t seen this one yet, close Facebook and fire up Netflix.
And suddenly I’m thinking of just what I’m going to do for the ten year anniversary of my horror extravaganza next year. My favorite version of each horror sub-genre!
