19. Crawl - I’m back from my New Orleans trip (pics coming soon), and back into my horror countdown. I LOVED this. Disaster movies and killer animal movies are some of my favorite sub-genres and this one had both. The characters were likable and didn’t make a bunch of dumb decisions, and I was thoroughly entertained. This one is definitely going in the rewatch file.
20. Before I Wake - Damn, what’s with horror movies giving me all the feels this month? This wasn’t one of those movies that is borderline as to whether it really counts as horror, but Netflix has it listed under horror so I’m still counting it even though it was more sad than scary. I liked the acting, the visuals were beautiful, and I enjoyed the ambiguity of the ending.
