I actually enjoy the whole "found footage" genre of horror, plus I do love a good anthology horror. This had both. I think I'm just far too desensitized because I didn't find it scary at all. My favorite was the webcam conversation section. That and the girl in the first short was fantastically creepy. I really loved how it was filmed though. The graininess, random pixelations, and video cutting out really added to the realism. On the whole, pretty good. I'm just a freak so it wasn't able to scare me.
14. Don't Be Afraid of the Dark
Sometimes you just want to watch something that had a big shiny Hollywood budget. I actually really liked this. Just like the Overlook in The Shining and the Murder House in American Horror Story, the house made this movie. It was stunningly beautiful and creepy at the same time. And yes the movie was about evil tooth fairies, but they were also creepy little evil things. Though I will say about this like I've said about many movies before. I don't care if you're seven, if you hear something creepily whispering your name and asking if you want to come play, your ass deserves to be eaten, kid or no.
