OCTOBER ORGY OF VIOLENCE 13
Oct. 28th, 2021 04:42 pm10. Zombieland - This movie will always have a special place in my heart because it’s the first movie I saw in the theater when I moved to Austin. The sequel was fun too but nothing captures the magic of the original. No other movie makes the zombie apocalypse look like so much FUN!
9. The Poughkeepsie Tapes - This movie continues to impress me because of how incredibly realistic it feels. I like found footage as a genre, but with the vast majority of them you’re still very aware that you’re watching a movie. From start to finish this feels like a true crime documentary.
8. Needful Things - The first of the Stephen King movies! Even bad Stephen King movies entertain me, but I genuinely enjoy this one. Max von Sydow is great, and it gives you that classic King trope of “small town people are just as twisted as anyone from the big city.”
