SPN - 4x01 "Lazarus Rising"

OMGWTFBBQ SERIOUSLY SHOW I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.

My Mom was so not kidding when she told me this episode kicked like ten different kinds of ass!

LOVED

-SO MUCH BOBBY! I can never get enough of Bobby. Hugging Dean. Calling him "boy." I want to live in his junkyard and deep-fry stuff for him.
-Sam's badass new power. Cannot wait to see Dean's reaction to that!
-Dean. Every single thing about him in this episode.
-Long, lingering hug. PLEASE KRIPKE MAY I HAVE ANOTHER?
-Sam's hookup saying, "So you two are together?" My Mom's reaction to my squeal of joy? "I figured you'd love that part."
-Ruby isn't gone! I need to warm up to the new girl because I really liked the old Ruby, but I'm glad the character is back.
-Sam putting an iPod in the Impala and Dean's horror was priceless.
-The entire look of the episode. Everything just looked incredible.

And oh yeah

IT WAS A FUCKING ANGEL HOLY CRAP. LITERALLY.

I was expecting it to be Lucifer. Never in a million years would I have guessed an angel. KRIPKE YOU ARE THE MAN.

Dean has to have some PTSD about hell. The little flashes were very effective at illustrating complete horror without showing too much. I'm wondering if we're going to get actual flashbacks.

On the whole, this episode was brilliant. We've been set up for an amazing season, the boys (plus Bobby!) are back together, and this was totally worth staying up until 3 to watch.
