Butterflies!!!

I just rescued a butterfly!

I was upstairs watching Prison Break, and Mum yells for me to come to the garage. The biggest, prettiest yellow monarch butterfly I've ever seen is trapped against one of the windows. Apparantly, it had gotten caught in a bunch of spiderwebs in the corner of the window. Mum unwound all the webs from it, but it was still freaking out and kept flying against the window. I spent a few minutes saying, "Calm down pretty" (I'm talking like T-Bag. Should I be afraid?) before the butterfly would chill and climb onto my hand. I took it outside and it flew off into the trees, so I guess the spiderwebs didn't hurt it at all. A minute later it flew back to us and fluttered around for a bit before disappearing back into the woods. Guess it was saying thanks!

This was seriously the most beautiful butterfly I've ever seen. It's wingspan was about the size of my hand! I hate despise and loathe spiders, but I love butterflies, so in one fell swoop I got to save a butterfly and stick it to the spiders.

Hopefully it will come back and bring some friends! As long as they stay out of the garage!

I like butterflies.

I like spiders too, they eat the bad bugs that are really bothersome, like mosquitoes and flies. so meh :p
