Home again!

Mum came home Friday, and she is feeling insanely good for someone who had such major surgery only a few days ago. We're spending the entire weekend relaxing with our good friend TIVO, and I keep feeling like it can't be real that we finally caught a break. I keep looking over at her and having to tell myself that she's really there and things are really okay. I'm amazed I didn't give myself an ulcer in the last few days before the surgery, and it's like I have to relearn how to relax.

Tomorrow we're making a chocolate banana pie and possibly marathoning Tru Calling. I think that's a start.
