Longest day of my life but it is GOOD

Mum is okay. Doctor Price told me that their weren't any other tumors, and that my everything went incredibly well with the whole surgery.

When she came out of recovery she was VERY loopy and it was pretty hilarious because she told me that she had dreamed that I was making pie for Sam and Dean while they were fighting the evil tumor monsters. Also she kept asking where our dog was. We don't have a dog, but we were planning on getting a dachshund after we moved. We're definitely getting one now!

Mum's resting comfortably in the hospital tonight, and I feel like I'm relaxed for the first time in months. I didn't even realize until a few hours ago that today was the first day of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I think that was a pretty good sign.

Thank you everyone for all your support through this. This road isn't over yet, but it just got a lot brighter.

Plz give her a big hug for me! When you do it, you're going to have to stand on your tiptoes and try as hard as you can to wrap your arms around her twice. That way it will be more like the hug came from me because I'm taller than you and have crazy apelike arms that span several thousand feet.
